Favorite Class — Neurobiology with Professor Lindgren This class was able to expand my knowledge of neurobiology so that I feel prepared for graduate school. Professor Lindgren made this complex subject completely comprehensible with clever analogies and wonderful laboratory experiments.

What is the best thing about Grinnell? Hands-on lab courses and innovative teaching styles that push my understanding of class material.

What is the worst thing about Grinnell? It can get pretty cold and windy.

Why Grinnell? Grinnell has small personal classes that are based on comprehension of material and not just memorization. I knew that I would be prepared for my future career if I went here.

What should every prospective student know? Grinnell is committed to education in all senses of the way, and the school provides lots of support for each Grinnellian to succeed.

What is your favorite Grinnell memory? Guinevere McIntyre, wife of Professor Eric McIntyre, invited members of Food Preservation Society over to learn how to make mozzarella cheese from fresh milk from the goats that they raise on their home farm.
