Lifelong Connections

You’ll make friends with your peers within a few weeks. But there’s another group of Grinnellians who can help too — the global network of Grinnell alumni. In fact, many alumni return to campus each year to help new students move in, answer questions, provide snacks, and help you get settled.

You can take advantage of alumni visits to your classroom, hear about their leadership and innovation experience in the Wilson Center Speaker’s Series, and meet alumni on campus.

You can tap the network in other ways too. You can job shadow an alum for a few days with Grinnell’s externship program. For a more in-depth experience, you can do an eight- to ten-week Grinnellink internship to develop and cultivate your professional network with alumni.
