Amanda Spiegel Amanda Spiegel '09, Co-Editor, Spring 2006-Spring 2007
I'm Amanda Spiegel '09, and I'm a third-year student here at the College. My hometown is Woodinville, Washington, (a suburb not far outside of Seattle). I come from a proud tradition of Grinnellians; my mother graduated with the Class of '77 and my father, the Class of '78. Exit 182 is the second campus publication I've been involved with; during my freshman year I cartooned for the school humor paper, The B&S. I'm majoring in History, but I'm currently taking courses in French, Chinese, Chemistry, and Constitutional Law. I also play the flute, if one were being flattering in their description of the activity, and I have the privilege of doing freelance work for the Grinnell Magazine. My other interests include travel, snowboarding, swimming, reading, writing, drawing, movies, music, politics and current events, art, trivia, and word games like Scrabble and Boggle.

Annie Rosenkranz Annie Rosenkranz '07, Co-Editor, Spring 2006-Spring 2007
My name is Annie Rosenkranz and I'm a senior Political Science major/Global Development Studies concentrator from St. Louis, Missouri. I consider myself to be a 'passionate dabbler' meaning I'll try just about anything and I am easily excited by new activities. Thus far at Grinnell, I've been involved in theater, rugby, Free The Planet!, Alternative Break service trips, Student Staff, the Prison Writers Workshop, a variety of protests and activist campaigns, campus jobs ranging from the Post Office to the Dining Hall, and much more. As of today, I plan on pursuing a career in film/TV production centered on raising awareness about social justice issues. But who knows - something new may excite me tomorrow and my path will take yet another curve. This path through Grinnell has been both experiential and academic; both personal and relational; both reflective and forward-looking. My path to this point has been neither direct nor linear, but it has been fantastic.

TJ Hawley Tara Hawley '10, Co-Editor, Fall 2007

My name is Tara Hawley, and I'm a second year student from Overland Park, Kansas. Currently, I am a Chinese major, but in addition to Chinese, I also really enjoy my Philosophy classes and will possibly double in Philosophy and Chinese. I really enjoy co-editing Exit 182 with Alisha, as well as being the All Campus Events Chair on SGA Cabinet. Although these two activities and classes take up much of my time, I can also be found spending time at Bob's Underground Cafe with my friends and watching movies in the Harris Cinema.
