Purpose: Alumni provide a content-specific presentation via phone, videoconference, or on campus, usually about their employer, graduate school, or career field.
Process: Alumni contact the Career Development Office to arrange a presentation time and discuss potential topics. The CDO arranges a room for the presentation, reserves necessary audio-visual equipment, and advertises the visit based on information provided by the alumnus. Examples of past presentations include conducting a case interview workshop, explaining specific career options (i.e., Peace Corps, consulting, investment banking, nonprofit, public policy), and tips for applying to medical school.
Cost: Alumni may pay for phone call or, if visiting campus, alumni pay for their own trip and accommodations.
