All class volunteers reach out to classmates as members of the Grinnell community. There are over 600 class volunteers and just under 20,000 alumni. Grinnellians went to school with a range of 7 years of alumni, and friends span this entire range of years. As a volunteer, reaching out to thirty friends and acquaintances means that in a year every single alumnus can have a great conversation about Grinnell. Every month, volunteers need to contact 5-10 Grinnellians with visits, phone calls, email and/or direct mail pieces.
