Born 9/2/91 in Maquoketa, Iowa … son of Missy and Dave Dostal and Ardell Feller.

High School:

Graduated from Maquoketa High School, where he lettered three years in football, baseball and track and once each in basketball and wrestling … in football, named to All-Eastern Iowa and All-Telegraph Herald first teams as well as All-District, plus was first-team Academic All-State and All-District … won the Travis Franzen Award twice for being the team’s leading tackler … finished with 159 career tackles, 14 tackles for loss, eight sacks, four fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles … Academic All-Conference and Coach’s Award winner in baseball, and a state qualifier in wrestling while also earning Academic All-Conference honors and was a member of the Clinton Herald All-Area Team … also won the Coach’s Award in wrestling … besides athletics, was a Governor’s Scholar and member of the National Honor Society, Student Senate, All “A” Honor Roll and Dean’s List.
