GORP (Grinnell Outdoor Recreation Program) offers many outdoor recreation opportunities for the Grinnell College community. The primary goal of GORP is to offer instruction and equipment so students have the tools to pursue the outdoors on their own. GORP strives to offer opportunities in four main ways: physical education instruction, on campus workshops, off campus trips, and an equipment rental and loan program. Leadership training is an integral component of GORP programming.
