Schedule for August 2010
Thursday, August 12: Arrive at Grinnell College.
Group meeting at 8:00 p.m. in the PEC.
You will be able to move into your assigned rooms, so please arrive on time to do this. The office of student affairs will be notifying you of procedures for obtaining your room keys and student ID card.
Friday, August 13: Training Day.
You will split into groups and spend most of the day training. Sesssions include: canoeing skills, group equipment, first aid & safety and packing personal gear.
Saturday, August 14: Drive to Wisconsin.
We will depart soon after breakfast, with lunch on the road and preparing for dinner on arrival. There will probably be some evening activities at teh cabins we will be staying in.
Sunday, August 15 – Thursday, August 19: On the trail!
Friday, August 20: Return to Grinnell.
We will hopefully return just in time for dinner in the dining halls. New Student Orientation begins the next day. For more information on NSO, click here
