Live Well Grinnell
It's All About Wellness
Live Well Grinnell provides resources, support, and encouragement to all members of our community (students, staff, faculty) as they seek their vision of optimal wellness in all dimensions Central tenets of Live Well Grinnell:
- Wellness is integral to the mission of the College.
- Wellness is multidimensional: social, intellectual, physical, vocational, spiritual, emotional, environmental.
- Wellness should meet people where they are, both literally and figuratively.
- Wellness focuses on moving towards optimal health and well-being, not just avoiding disease and dysfunction.
- Wellness can be pursued both individually and collaboratively.
- Wellness is about continuous improvement, not a set destination

Yoga at Your Desk
Thursday, January 19th 12:15-12:45pm JRC 209
Want to feel better and maintain a healthy weight? Sitting for long periods of time is the enemy! Studies show that you need to move every 90 minutes (this helps you work more efficiently, too!). Come and learn a few exercises you can do in your work clothes, right at your desk. If people look at you funny, let them know they are missing out. Taught by Monica St. Angelo. Reservations to me via e-mail appreciated, but not required.
