Attended Cooper City High School … Earned four letters in baseball and was a Baseball Factory Preseason All-American as both a junior and senior while also being named a Team One All-American and a Blue/Grey Pre-Select as a senior. Wrapped up his final season with a 6-1 record and a 2.03 ERA on the hill while striking out 55 batters in 51 innings of work. Also led the team in strikeouts as a sophomore. He was invited to pitch in the Southern Collegiate League in the summer of 2006 and the prestigious Valley League in 2007 and again this summer … Aside from athletics, was a two-time State Science Fair finalist and a Venture Scholar.
