The Pioneers went up 21-7 with 3:15 left in the third quarter on McCabe’s 78-yard pass play to Baker. Granera kicked the point after.
Beloit made it 21-14 a bit later, and it remained that way through much of the fourth quarter before Weber scored from 15 yards out at the 3:11 mark on a series set up by Wiles’ fumble recovery. Granera’s extra point made it 28-14.
Beloit scored with just under a minute left to account for the final tally.
