The Grinnell College men’s cross country, coming off a strong 2009 campaign, is ranked 19th in the preseason NCAA Division III rankings compiled by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Pioneers received a total of 114 voting points. The top-ranked team is Washington University (Mo.), while North Central (Ill.) is second and Allegheny third.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire leads the women’s national rankings, followed by St. Lawrence and Middlebury.
