WAVERLY – Peter Marsho ’12 came back from Saturday’s opening-round 3-over-par 75 to shoot the same score Sunday en route to a 12th-place finish with a 150 at the Wartburg College Invitational.

Next in line for the Pioneers was Marsho’s brother, Chris ’14, who had an 82-82-164 to tie for 63rd.

WAVERLY – Peter Marsho ’12 fired a 3-over-par 75 to lead the Grinnell College men’s golf team on the opening day of the Wartburg College Invitational in Waverly.

Marsho, who is tied for 19th, had a 38 on the front nine and 37 on the back.

Jimmy Borrasso ’12 recorded his best round of the year by six strokes with a 78, going 40 on the front and 38 on the back. He is tied for 41st.

Grinnell College's Jared Dye '12 (Mount Vernon, Iowa/Mount Vernon) has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Golf Performer of the Week.

Dye bounced back from an opening-round 88 to shoot on 80 on the final day of the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational over the weekend. Dye's two-day score of 168 is his season-best and ranked second for Grinnell at the tourney.

Peter Marsho ’12 led the Grinnell College men’s golf team at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational that wrapped up Saturday.

Marsho shot a 5-over-par 77 on Saturday after recording a 78 on Friday for a two-day score of 155. That tied him for 27th place.

Jared Dye ’12 improved on his round of 88 with an 80 on Saturday for a 168. That put him in a tie for 85th.

Jimmy Borrasso ’12 had an 84 and 87 for a two-day score of 171,...

The Grinnell College men’s golf team shot a 339 and is tied for 21st place after the opening day of action at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Friday.

Leading the Pioneers’ was Peter Marsho ’12, who recorded a 6-over-par 78 and is tied for 26th in the 120-golfer field. Logan Granera ’12 is next in line with an 84, good for a 79th-place tie, while Jared Dye ’12 and Chris Marsho ’14 had an 88 and 89, respectively. Dye...
