Led by Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar Peter Marsho ’12, the Grinnell College men’s golf team has officially accepted its honor as the top academic team in the nation.
The Pioneers were named the 2011 Academic National Champion for all of NCAA Division III recently. Coach Brian Jaworski’s squad unveiled the hardware on Wednesday at the College.
Other members of the 2011 team besides Marsho included Kale Knisley ’11, Alex McDonald ’11, James Borrasso ’12, Jared Dye ’12, Ethan Kenvarg ’12, Logan Granera ’12, Jack Adams ’13, Ian Luby ’13, Jon Cohen ’14, Chris Marsho ’14 and Travis Palmer ’14.
