Grinnell College’s Michael Brus ’14 has earned honorable mention All-America status in the 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA Division III National Swimming and Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind.
Brus finished 10th Thursday night in 1:39.01, equaling his school record set earlier this season. He improved on his time of 1:40.00 in Thursday's preliminaries. He was ranked 14th coming into the final.
Brus has two more events on his slate, as he’ll compete in the 100 backstroke on Friday and 200 backstroke on Saturday.
