The Grinnell College men’s tennis team is heading to Saint Peter, Minn., this week for the NCAA Division III Regional Team Tournament.
The Pioneers, who are 22-7 and advanced to the NCAA Tourney by winning the Midwest Conference title last week, will take on Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday at noon. Wisconsin-Eau Claire enters the tourney with a 24-5 record.
Grinnell enters the match ranked 13th in the Central Region.
The winner faces the University of Chicago (16-4) on Saturday. On the other side of the bracket, host Gustavus Adolphus (17-8) meets Concordia of Wisconsin (16-11) on Friday, with that winner taking on Trinity of Texas (14-12) on Saturday.
The semifinal winners square off on Sunday, with that winner advancing to the eight-team NCAA Tourney event to be contested May 24-26 in Claremont.
