Born 6/30/1989 in Quito, Ecuador  Son of Juan Carlos Perez Espinosa and Maria Gabriela Borja. Has three siblings, Viviana Perez, Joaquin Perez and Daniel Perez.

High School

Attended Martim Cerere School. Lettered in tennis six times and soccer three times. Was national champion for the 18-and-under division and state champion for the 16- and 18-under division.
