Hundreds of the elite track and field athletes were on hand Thursday night as Grinnell College hosted the 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Championship Banquet at Darby Gymnasium.
Among the speakers were Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and Grinnell College President Raynard Kington. The keynote speaker was Olympic coach Joe Vigil.
The national meet is Friday and Saturday at the Charles Benson Bear ’39 Recreation and Athletic Center Field House.
