MOUNT VERNON – Gus Fulgoni ’12 won the high jump and leaped onto Grinnell’s all-time leader board in that event at Saturday’s Cornell College Invitational.
Fulgoni leaped 6-3/4 inches to win the event. That height ranks sixth all-time for the Pioneers.
Zack Angel ’15 was third in the 800-meter run in 2:02.32, while the Pioneers placed fourth in the 4x400 relay in 3:36.04.
Harpreet Singh ’15 added a sixth-place finish in the 400 hurdles (59.96), while eighth place went to Fulgoni in the 400 (53.34) and Ronald Edwards ’14 in the triple jump (35-10 ½).
Placing 10th were Singh in the 100 (12.04) and Zev Braun ’15 in the javelin (132-2).
