DES MOINES – Frank Canady '14 ran his way onto Grinnell College's all-time leader board in the 10,000-meter run at the Jim Duncan Invitational Friday at Drake Stadium.
Canady finished second in the event with a clocking of 32:37.34, which ranks ninth in Pioneer history. He was just 11 seconds behind the champion in the 12-runner race.
Other top finishers for Grinnell Friday were Gavin Warnock '14 in the triple jump (sixth with a leap of 39-7) and Ben Tyler '14 in the 5000 (18th in 15:33.67).
The meet concludes Saturday.
