DES MOINES – The Grinnell College men’s track and field team came up with some strong efforts at the Jim Duncan Invitational Saturday at Drake Stadium.
Gavin Warnock ’14 was eighth in the long jump with a leap of 20-3 ½, Jake Lindstrom ’14 was ninth in the pole vault at 13-7 ¼ and Eric Ragan ’12 took 10th in the 400-meter hurdles in 58.12.
Sam Krauth ’14 and Ian McCallum-Cook ’12 were 14th and 19th in the 1500, respectively, with times of 4:07.87 and 4:14.97.
In the 800, Kyle Moorehead ’15 was 20th in 1:58.51 and Krauth placed 21st in 1:59.15.
