Grinnell College’s softball team dropped a pair of decisions at Simpson College Tuesday, falling 12-0 and 8-0.
The Pioneers managed a hit in each game. In the opener, Jayme Wiebold ’12 had an infield single in the first inning and in the second contest, Jennifer Fulton ’15 hit a double to right-center in the fourth.
Amanda Stromquist ’12 and Fulton suffered the pitching losses, respectively. Simpson is now 19-7, while the Pioneers fell to 1-13.
Grinnell hosts its own tournament Friday and Saturday.
