Attended Galesburg High School, where she lettered in softball twice, swimming and diving four times and basketball cheerleading twice. Was named academic all-conference in swimming and diving as well as softball, and earned the Golden Glove Award in the latter. In diving, was a two-time state qualifier and team MVP. Was named GAVC Student of the Month and the Academic Excellence Award.
