The Grinnell College volleyball team is set to participate in the Midwest Conference Tournament for the second time in three years.
Grinnell is the fourth seed in the four-team field, having gone 6-3 in league play, and will play top-seed and host St. Norbert College at 7 p.m. Friday. St. Norbert was 9-0 in the MWC.

Grinnell, 9-16 overall, is led in the hitting department by Michelle Briggs ’13 and Claire Weidman ’15, who average 2.41 and 2.12 kills per set, respectively. Bonnie Kircher ’12 averages 1.99.
Olivia Wilks ’12 averages 8.14 assists per set, Briggs averages 1.06 blocks and Kate Duran ’12 3.36 digs. Wilks and Lindsay Fujimoto ’15 average 2.14 and 2.13 digs, respectively.
St. Norbert, 24-7 overall, is paced by Danielle Remy with 2.83 kills per set and Breanne Brocker with 2.55. Abby West averages 8.06 assists per set and Remy 1.27 blocks. Digs leaders include Catherine Guido (7.00), Brocker (3.99) and Mary Kate Manion (2.41).
The other semifinal, which pits Monmouth College and Lake Forest College, is at 4:30 p.m.
The championship is at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the winner earning the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
