Grinnell College's Hannah Wolf '08 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Basketball Co-Performer of the Week.
Wolf erupted with a pair of big scoring performances over the weekend, as the 5-8 guard from Omaha, Neb., combined for 77 points in a pair of league road games. Wolf opened the weekend by leading the Pioneers to their first conference victory of the season when she tallied 38 points and 10 rebounds during a 76-63 decision over Lawrence. Less than 24 hours later, she poured in 39 more points as Grinnell came up short against Beloit 90-80.
Wolf, who added 14 rebounds, five assists and four steals during the two games, was 29-of-55 from the field and 12-of-28 from long distance in the two contests. She shared Performer of the Week honors with Denise Heuser of St. Norbert College.
