Jason Anderson is the Director of Staying Well at Grinnell. Besides holding down that role, Anderson is also on the Grinnell College football and baseball coaching staffs. In football, Anderson just completed his fourth year with the team while serving as defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator.
He is 2001 graduate of Grinnell with a degree in American studies. As a student-athlete at Grinnell he was a starter on the 1998 Midwest Conference championship football team and was a captain on the 2001 Midwest Conference championship basketball team. In his time at Grinnell College, Anderson made a game-winning free throw, blocked an extra point attempt to seal a win in overtime and hit a game-winning grand slam in baseball. He also serves as assistant baseball coach under Tim Hollibaugh. Anderson is originally from Grinnell and resides in town with his wife, Yoly, and their three children, A.J., Mikey, and Maddux.
