NORMAL, Ill. – Stephanie Spahr ’14 paced Grinnell with a 179 at the Illinois Wesleyan University Spring Fling golf event over the weekend.
Spahr shot an 84 on Saturday and followed that up with a 95 Sunday to finish in a 65th-place tie.
Kayleigh Kresse ’15 added a 95-87-182 to tie for 71st, and Alex Plemmons ’15 tied for 84th with a 94-95-189.
Finishing out Grinnell’s lineup were Elaine Teo ’12, who tied for 88th with a 98-95-193, and Hailey Speck ’15 was 90th with a 96-100-196.
Grinnell was 17th in the team standings with a 369-372-741. DePauw University won with a 634 and DePauw’s Taylor Beaty was the individual champ with a 152.
