Pioneers Finish 10th at Millikin Fall Classic

The Grinnell College women's golf team finished up play on Sunday at the Millikin Fall Classic with an overall score of 744 and a 10th-place finish. Illinois Wesleyan took the team title with a score of 632.

Amy Livingston led the Pioneers as she finished in a tie for 21st, following a round of 92 on Sunday. Stephanie Goggin finished in a tie for 45th with a score of 188 as Jordan Heguy followed with a 190 and a tie for 53rd. Marie Liska and Caitlin Campbell round out the scores for Grinnell recording a 194 and 199 respectively.

Carey Cappell of Illinois College won the individual title with rounds of 76 and 72, finishing four strokes ahead of Taylor Paskell of Illinois Wesleyan.

The Pioneers will be back on the course next weekend as they end their fall schedule at the Midwest Conference Tournament hosted by Knox College in Galesburg, Ill. Tee-off on Saturday is scheduled for 8:00 a.m.
