DES MOINES - Eloise Miller '15 leaped onto Grinnell College's all-time leader board in the long jump during the Jim Duncan Invitational Friday at Drake Stadium.
Miller placed seventh in the event with a jump of 16-1/2, which ties for fifth-best in Pioneer history.
Other top finishers for Grinnell Friday were Hannah Colter '12 in the 5000-meter run (ninth in 18:50.03), Jordan Young '14 in the discus (11th with a toss of 107-3), Athena Carlson '15 in the discus (12th at 102-1) and Diana Seer '15 in the 5000 (17th in 19:31.56).
The meet concludes Saturday.
