Sachi Graber ’12 (pictured) had a pair of seventh-place finishes to spark the Grinnell College women’s track and field team at the Hilltop Invitational indoor meet hosted by Cornell College on Saturday.
Graber ran the 3000-meter run in 11 minutes, 48.46 seconds and went 8 feet, 6 ¼ inches in the pole vault.
Frances Leslie ’10 was 10th in the 800 in 2:33.38 and Isabelle Miller ’13 took 22nd in the 400 in 67.02.

The Grinnell College men's and women's track and field squads were named 2009 Division III All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Fifty-one men's programs and 100 women's teams earned the honor, which is given to squads with a cumulative grade point average of 3.100 or higher. Grinnell's men had a 3.374 GPA and the women a 3.440.

Becky Bessinger '09 (pictured) broke her own school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase to lead the Grinnell College women's track and field team at the 2009 Midwest Conference Championships on Saturday, May 9.She placed fourth in the event with a clocking of 11 minutes, 34.85 seconds, beating her previous best of 11:41.55 established in 2007.
