Academic life at Grinnell is intense but collaborative. Instead of following one-size-fits-all distribution requirements, you’ll work closely with your faculty adviser to design your own curriculum, one that uniquely suits your interests, broadens your perspectives, builds your confidence, and stretches your abilities. Courses are small and mostly discussion-based, with many opportunities to interact, research, and work together with your professors and fellow students on class assignments, independent research, and mentored advanced projects.
