Sept 18, 2006, North facade partly bricked

  • Views from the crane! Thank you Weitz Company for providing them and Henry Walker for continuing to post them. Henry also has demolition pictures from July, 2005. 
  • 09/18/06: Entire north facade, seen from 8th Ave. West section has brickwork done, east section has been prepped with waterproofing.
  • 09/18/06: North side of central section, to be the science library on 2nd and 3rd floors. Good view of the barrell-vault ceiling!

  • 09/18/06: Corridor running North-South on the second floor, overlooking the new corridor on the left side of the picture. See an exterior view of this same corridor in the next link.
  • 09/18/06: Same exterior view as the next (Jun30-2006) link, now seen with exterior brick! They have also just placed an architectural element along the second floor corridor (to be all glass) overlooking the courtyard.
