Alisha Saville '09, Editor in Chief

Hi! My name is Alisha Saville, and I’m a senior Sociology major from Carbondale, IL. The social sciences, outdoors, and arts are my passions, but in terms of extracurricular activities and general interests I’m game for just about anything that grabs my attention. My time at Grinnell has been a patchwork of various activities, from Swing Society, ASIA, and Alternative Break to Active Minds, Ultimate Frisbee, and climbing with friends. Right now there exists a world of possibilities where long-term future plans are concerned, but completing a Lutheran Volunteer Corps service year is the current plan for '09-'10.

Working with Exit 182 has been one of my biggest pleasures during my college career, and I look forward to being on the receiving end of the publication after graduation.

Macaela Holmes '10, Assistant Editor

My name is Macaela Holmes; I am a third-year Sociology major and am also working towards a concentration in American Studies. I was born and raised in Breckenridge, Colorado (yes, I did leave the beautiful Rocky Mountains to experience Iowa; luckily, Grinnell has been worth every windy, cold, flat morning walk to class!). I am a student advisor on Cowles first (where I live in an amazing apartment) and am an active member of the Student Alumni Association. Many of my involvements are with the Office of College and Alumni Relations as a reunion worker, student receptionist, and Phonathon student manager. I enjoy watching Grinnell sporting events, especially football. As a "Grinnell Chip" (my dad is Bill "Scarff" Holmes '80), I know my Grinnell education and experience is shaping the person I am becoming. My future plans are still much undecided; hopefully my interests in event-planning, people watching, and travel will direct me towards something entertaining!
