• To post to a listserv, open the subscribed e-mail account and create a new e-mail.
  
  
• Type in the TO: line of your e-mail the listserv name and the lyris address (listservname@lyris.grinnell.edu).
• For example: If you want to send an e-mail to the class of 1982 listserv, you would type "grinnell82@lyris.grinnell.edu" in the TO: line of your e-mail. If you want to send a message to the Texas regional discussion group you would type "texasgrin@lyris.grinnell.edu."
  
  
• You may also reply to a message sent to you. Remember, however, that if you reply to an e-mail sent to you, your message will be sent to the entire listserv and not specifically to the person who posted the e-mail.
  
  
• You can not post an e-mail from an account that is not subscribed to the listserv.
