Grinnell's Family Weekend, sponsored by the Office of College and Alumni Relations, is a wonderful opportunity for families to visit with their students and celebrate their accomplishments. Come experience as a family the rich diversity of life on campus and learn about the many resources available to your student at Grinnell.

This year's Family Weekend will include tours, lectures, and events commemorating the College's 150th anniversary of being in the community of Grinnell. A number of alumni who serve the College in various volunteer roles, including members of the Alumni Council, will also be on campus during Family Weekend.

Families with student athletes who participate in fall sports might be interested to know that there will be a weekend celebrating Grinnell College athletics October 16-18, 2009. This weekend will offer student athletes, alumni, and families numerous athletic contests, practices and scrimmage matches, as well as events highlighting Grinnell's athletes past and present. Please consult your student's fall athletic schedule to determine which weekend is most appropriate for your family.
