November is National Philanthropy Month, reminding us all to deeply consider the organizations most important to us. In the spirit of philanthropy, the Student Philanthropy Committee and the Senior Challenge Committee use November 9 to educate students about the value of philanthropy for Grinnell College.

With a goal of 10,000 alumni and 4,000 parents and friends to make gifts this year, there is no better way to celebrate National Philanthropy than by making a gift through Grinnell College for the impact Grinnellians have on the world.

While the goal is audacious, the vision of a college in the finest tradition of higher education - in the wilderness of Iowa - was no less audacious. Almost 164 years later, Grinnell is indeed one of the finest colleges in the world.
