Grinnell's state-of-the-art fieldhouse offers a superb venue for athletes in multiple sports, and at every level of expertise - varsity competitors, intramural teams, and fitness enthusiasts. Spectators, too, will revel in the opportunities to cheer on the Pioneers in comfortable new seating areas.
An student-athlete-friendly multipurpose recreation facility features:
- Six-lane 200-meter track with eight-lane straightaway
- State-of-the-art poured synthetic multipurpose surface
- Triple jump, long jump, high jump, and pole vault runways
- Shot put and hammer throw areas
- Lynx Timing System with a Daktronics scoreboard
- Seating for more than 400 spectators
- Four competition/recreational tennis courts within the track
- Netting makes tennis play possible without interfering with events on the track
- Two drop-down batting cages for baseball/softball
