Donor Relations

Grinnell's Donor Relations team is responsible for the comprehensive, consistent, and appropriate recognition and stewardship of your gifts to the College. We abide by the standards described in the Donor Bill of Rights, and we make sure that information about your gift is appropriately reported, and, if desired, publicly recognized.

Gift Acknowledgments

All donations to the College are recognized quickly and accurately. If you make your gift online you will receive an e-receipt and confirmation, for other gifts your tax receipt will be sent within 48 hours of receiving your gift. Your gift may be acknowledged in other ways including a letter from the division chair, phone call from a senior administrator or a personal note from a member of the Development and Alumni Relations Staff.

Endowed Fund Reporting

Many donors have created named funds such as professorships, scholarships, internships, fellowships, and faculty development funds. The Donor Relations team generates reports on many of these funds on an annual basis, illustrating how the donor's gift has been used to support students, faculty, and College programs. Donor Recognition

Grinnell recognizes the generosity of its donors in many ways including giving club membership, Asa Turner Associates, and in donor publications including the online honor roll.
