What it means to be a Grinnellian

“I fell in love with Grinnell before I ever got accepted. I felt like a Grinnellian. Now that I’m in my last semester, I’m starting to really understand what it means to be a Grinnellian. I think it takes four years to really grow into it. It’s been fantastic.”

Kathleen, like many of her classmates, learned about Grinnell from Grinnellians. Now she is passing on that knowledge to the students in the classes of 2012, ’13, and ’14 — along with those hoping to be included in the class of ’15. Doubling in Music and Anthropology, Kathleen demonstrates how passionate Grinnellians shape this community. And while she is graduating soon her connections to this place will continue to live on.

"Even though I'm leaving campus, I'm never going to be leaving Grinnell."
