Driving Directions to our Practice Location from Iowa City

  • I-80 W toward Des Moines (56 miles)
  • Exit #182 (Hwy 146), Grinnell/New Sharon exit
  • Turn Right onto IA-146 going North
  • Go about 3.7 miles north through the town of Grinnell
  • Turn Right onto 10th Avenue
  • Go 3 blocks and look for the Charles
    Benson Bear '39 Recreation and Athletic Center    , 1201 10th Avenue, on your left.
  • Park across the street in Visitor Parking
  • Guests will need to show a guest pass at the reception desk at the main entrance; talk with us ahead of time.
  • If you let us know you're coming, we'll make arrangements to meet you. We practice in the Multipurpose Room/Dance Studio on the second floor of the natatorium building and it is a little hard to find.

Parking

Parking for visitors is available in spaces marked "Visitor Parking". Visitors can also park in "Faculty/Staff Parking" spaces after 5 p.m. on weekdays or on the weekends without penalty. Student spaces are off-limits.
