Intermodal shipping connects the world and affects the daily lives of all Iowans. We live in a state that carries trainloads of grain, high fructose corn syrup and coal through our prairies, and brings in truckloads of plastic, electronic and digital goods produced in China and Southeast Asian countries.
When we ask ourselves “What’s Inside” these boxes of goods, we ask ourselves what’s inside our communities as a whole. Ideal X is the first international project undertaken by The Moving Crew. With venues in Croatia and Iowa we are interested in generating an international dialogue.
