Artist Jane Gilmor has created an installation focusing on family histories and concepts of work, based on interviews conducted by Grinnell College students. This project gives a voice to people who contribute to our community in invisible ways, and brings them into the conversation about the City of Grinnell’s identity. (Un)Seen Work is a multimedia “album” of the often unnoticed, sometimes under-appreciated jobs performed in the daily life of our community.

This project is supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
