Two common text-formatting tasks are centering and indenting.

How to Center and Indent

To center text:

  1. Highlight the text you wish to center.
  2. Select "Centered Text" from the WYSIWYG's "Styles" drop-down menu (next to the "Formatting" drop-down).

To indent text:

  1. Highlight the text you wish to indent.
  2. Select "Indented Text" from the WYSIWYG's "Styles" drop-down menu (next to the "Formatting" drop-down).

To double indent text:

  1. Highlight the text you wish to double indent.
  2. Select "2x Indented Text" from the WYSIWYG's "Styles" drop-down menu (next to the "Formatting" drop-down).

Undoing Centering/Indenting

If text is centered or indented and you don't wish it to be:

  1. Select the text you wish to uncenter or unindent.
    1. The Styles drop-down menu should say "centered," "indented," or "2x indented" depending on what style is applied to the text.
  2. Select "Styles" from the Styles drop-down.

Centered & Indented Text in the WYSIWYG

Unfortunately, the "Centered Text" and "Indented Text" is not centered or indented in the WYSIWYG editor.  We hope to change this in the near future.  However, for now, just trust that the text will be centered.
