Sometimes, if you are having trouble formatting text in bold and italic, it is easiesr to clear all formatting and start over.
To clear all formatting, select all the text in the WYSIWYG editor (click and drag or CTRL+A), and click the clear formatting button. The button is one to the left of the Symbols button (blue Omega) and looks like a white eraser erasing a line.
Once you have cleared all formatting, reselect the text you want bolded or italicized.
Don't forget headers!
If you are using bold to indicate a header, please use the proper Header Formatting instead.
