Special Characters & Symbols

Home › Help › Resources & How-Tos › WYSIWYG Editor › Special Characters & Symbols
The special characters/symbols button.

The special characters/symbols button makes it easy to put special characters correctly into Drupal.

The WYSIWYG editor makes it easy to use the most common special characters.

Just click the Symbol button (see figure at right) to launch a window that allows you to insert many special characters in the correct way that all web browsers understand.

Some of the special characters available here are ©, €, ¼, &, ½, á, and é.
