Overview
The look and feel of a website is often the first thing noticed by any site visitor. A large portion of previous criticism of the Grinnell website has often centered around its design. Therefore, it is important that the new design of the Grinnell College website accurately represent the college while pleasing the visitor. Palantir, the vendor hired to help with the transition from BornFree to Drupal, has been contracted to create one theme (a design) and four templates (varying layouts of that design) for us. One of the first tasks of the committee, then, will be to critique a revision of the current college design that we will give to Palantir. Also, a top bar and footer will be put on every page of the college website, regardless of content or design. The committee will review the designs of those.
