This fee enables students to place local calls from their residence hall room at no additional cost. Long distance calling cards or a campus authorization code (see below) are required to place long distance calls from campus telephones. All residence hall rooms are equipped with a telephone which is enabled with voice mail features.
Students who wish to place long distance calls may use a calling card or obtain a campus authorization code - a five-digit code administered by the Cashier's Office for billing purposes. Visit the Cashier's Office, located in the John Chrystal Center, to learn more about or to obtain an authorization code. Long distance calls will be billed to the student on a monthly basis. Students are billed for long-distance calls only; no additional service fees will be applied, providing the account is kept current.
