Using the Burling and Kistle Libraries
Burling and Kistle Libraries contain much more than just books (although they have hundreds of thousands of those, too).
There are plentiful places to study quietly, including individual study carrels and tables in both libraries. Burling also features armchairs, bean bag chairs, and even jungle gyms. If you need to work with classmates or peer mentors, group study rooms are available in both Burling and Kistle.
Want to secure your laptop, listen to music, and have a fast hard-wired Internet connection while you're studying? Headphones, laptop locks, and network cables can be checked out from the circulation desks.
Public computers with Windows are available on all five floors of Burling and in Kistle; public Macs are available on levels 1, 2, and 3 in Burling. Printers, photocopiers, and scanners are also available for you to use.
