This exhibit (located in the SW corner of the first floor of Burling Library near Jungle Gyms) focuses on the efforts of the Madres de Plaza de Mayo and the other effects of the "Dirty War" in Argentina. There is also information on Argentina's history and literature since 1976.
The activists from the Association of the Madres de Plaza de Mayo will be in Grinnell to discuss their efforts. The events were held in JRC 101.

Kris Thalhammer, Professor of Political Science at St. Olaf College, will discuss the background of the "Dirty War," and the human rights movement.
