The production, titled "Janeane From Des Moines," includes scenes shot in Iowa between March 2011 and January 2012 during the Republicans' campaign for the Jan. 3 Iowa Caucuses.
Janeane, a fictional character played by Ames native Jane Edith Wilson, is a 47-year-old tea party conservative and an evangelical Christian homemaker. But her personal and political convictions are tested after her truck-driving husband loses his job, she develops a lump in her breast and she loses her health insurance.
